SUMMER PHOTOGRAPHY INTENSIVE
RISING GRADES 11-12 • Hartford Art School and Jessica Rose

Looking for You by Mia Coppola
In this immersive summer program at Hartford Art School (HAS), students learn how to use analogue technology in black and white photography, and develop a method for integrating this special process into their photographic work. A HAS photography professor guides students in understanding 35mm cameras, film exposure, processing and printing, lab equipment, and materials. In addition, artist lectures and guest artists introduce students to the larger photographic world. Daily lunch breaks offer opportunities to step outside or visit HAS’s art galleries. The program culminates in a mini exhibition of student work in a professional gallery setting. Transportation to and from HAS is provided daily from Woodbury and Waterbury, CT. View the bus schedule. Lunch provided daily. Special thanks to Project Concept Development Advisor Jessica Rose.
