ASAP! YOUTH ENSEMBLE

GRADES 6-12 • JAMES & KRYSTYANA CZEINER AND KAITLIN CLARK

Youth Ensemble participants play violin and viola.

The ASAP! Youth Ensemble brings together a community of young musicians from northwest CT to refine their orchestral abilities, engage in creative composition, and gear up for a performance. Vibrant teaching artist duo James and Krystyana Czeiner, both notable Juilliard alumni and Grammy recipients, steer an enriching and invigorating musical experience where students enhance their understanding and love for orchestral works, producing distinct compositions through aleatoric methods, electronics, and more. The initiative begins with a collaborative large-scale painting activity, allowing participants to bond through a joint creative endeavor. This artwork will later serve as the backdrop for their Youth Ensemble Concert.
