PUT ON A PLAY!
GRADES 2-5 • CHRISTINE MITCHELL, ERIN MOFFAT
In this three-part series have fun with a playwright, set designer, and play director to explore all aspects of creating a play from scratch. Play producer Erin Moffat will guide you through the process of creating stories and characters for an original play: What will your characters say? Where will they travel and who will they meet? Then explore large scale set painting with artist Christine Mitchell to discover how color, shape, and lines make your story more dynamic. Erin then returns to lead you through acting and theatre games bringing your characters to life – costumes included! You will become a true theatre ensemble and present your original play for family and friends.
