HARMONIUS HEARTS
GRADES 3-8 • YSANNE MARSHALL
ASAP! invites Children’s Community School students to come together for an exciting, collaborative vocal experience. Led by musician and performer Ysanne Marshall, students will explore how they can use their collective voice to tell a story through chorus and spoken word. Participants will have the opportunity to see a powerful story of friendship and redemption told through music and performance on a field trip to Wicked at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford. In after-school sessions, they’ll create a collaborative vocal piece, and perform alongside other teaching artists and ASAP! students at ASAP!’s 25th anniversary celebration in June.
