The arts have inspired me since I earned my first film camera in a kindergarten fundraiser when I was five years old. I have been a photographer ever since, which eventually lead me to pursue a degree in photography. It just goes to show how art can shape our entire lives. I studied fine arts and photography at Cazenovia College in Cazenovia, New York, and studied abroad in Canterbury, England. I received my BFA in 2012.

Since then I have opened my own photography business and I volunteer as a board member for the Litchfield Arts Council, which lead me to explore creative opportunities in the community and introduced me to ASAP! Through my own experiences, I have learned how the arts can empower us from childhood to adulthood. As Program Team Assistant I hope to inspire children to appreciate themselves and the world around them through the arts and creative expression.
