ART INSPIRES
GRADES 6-8 • ALYSSA ROBB
VIRTUAL

Experience art through the ages like never before with a spectacular look into some of the world’s most renowned and influential artists. Alyssa Robb will guide participants in a lesson about a new artist each week in a virtual class and create a project inspired by that artist’s work. Materials will be available for pick up before the first class. We will explore each artist’s techniques, details about their life, their culture, and social issues happening during that time in history. Weekly discussions will include ways these artists’ ideas affect our world today. Students will be encouraged to continue working on each project beyond class time. We will reflect on what we’ve learned by thoughtfully critiquing each other’s projects.
