ALEXIA MOHABIR

Alexia Mohabir is a designer, artist and writer with a love for storytelling and a passion for community building. They co-founded the indie team Star Yolk Games, working on video games that focus on engaging gameplay and telling diverse stories. Alexia is an active member of the NYC Gaming community, where they showcase games, attend events and connect with fellow game devs. They strive to cultivate a positive and safe space for diverse voices.

Alongside their work in games, Alexia writes comics that explore themes of fantasy, identity and emotion. On the side, they also design and sell their own merch at conventions and at their online shop. This is coupled with their freelance work designing logos, branding and artwork for a variety of clients. Across a variety of mediums, Alexia believes that visual storytelling has the power to build empathy and human connection.
