ANDREW FREEDMAN

Andrew E. Freedman, President of Andrew E. Freedman Public Relations, LLC., established his media relations firm in October 1990. The company has represented a wide variety of individuals and corporate accounts including broadcast journalists, Broadway performers, television programs, authors, non-profit organizations and corporations. In Summer 2005, Freedman and his family moved to Los Angeles where the firm is currently headquartered. Before establishing the firm, Freedman was the Senior Vice President of Media Relations for Special Olympics International. Prior to that, he worked at the NBC television network where he served as spokesman for the news division. Programs, which fell under his immediate jurisdiction, included NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, Meet The Press and all planned primetime specials. Freedman also oversaw the network’s press operation for such historical events as the U.S. – Russian Reykjavik and Geneva Summits, the Seoul Olympics and all Presidential election coverage. Additionally, he served as spokesman for Tom Brokaw, Maria Shriver, John Chancellor and other senior NBC News correspondents and executives.
