TERRI TIBBATTS

Terri Tibbatts is a book artist, calligrapher, printmaker and photographer. She studied calligraphy, typography and art history at Smith College and later worked for the Meriden Stinehour Press, a printer of fine art books, broadsides and limited editions. She studied Japanese brushwork, book binding and paper arts in Japan and the U.S., and received a Master’s Degree in Art from Wesleyan University. Recently, she has had two photography shows entitled “Mono No Aware —The Awareness of Things” and “Borrowed Scenery”. She has an online business, Shoji Shades, making roller shades from Japanese paper.
