PERCUSSION PROJECT

REGION 12, REGION 14 WITH JOHN MARSHALL

Explore rhythm, pulse, and improvisational exercises in traditional rhythms from across the world with internationally recognized master percussionist John Marshall. In this program, students get the opportunity to use a variety of tuned percussion instruments including frame drums, Egyptian tambourines and dumbeks, congas, djembes, and a drum kit. This workshop can culminate in a performance during band and orchestra concerts and will highlight these students and their newly acquired musical skills.
