INTER-DISTRICT THEATER PROJECT
GRADES 1-5 • SEA TEA IMPROV
In this 11-session series, children will learn basic theatre improv skills taught by Hartford’s professional improv company Sea Tea Improv. Participants will be actively participating through this entire experience: on their feet and encouraged to be bold and take risks. At the same time, students are taught to harness their energy into great communication and collaboration with each other. Class clowns will have a ball and learn to make room for their quieter counterparts. This class culminates in a share on the last day where students get to host and participate in improv games for their audience. No previous experience necessary for this class.
