This summer Halle attended the Pratt Institute Summer Program in Brooklyn, NY.
Halle is skilled in both drawing and painting, but likes to focus mostly on portraiture. In her work, she uses vibrant colors and tries to accentuate hues that are not normally seen in faces and bodies. She also likes to paint people from unusual or close-up angles unlike convential portraiture.
At Pratt, Halle was able to truly immerse herself in her art. She says “What made the experience great wasn’t simply that I was able to do art for a month, but that I was able to do art for a month with people that are as passionate about the craft as I am.” She says the program made her mroe confident about attending an art college and thanks ASAP for making her experience possible.
